Defense Base Act (DBA)

Worldwide Representation for Injured Civilian Workers

The Defense Base Act (DBA) provides workers’ compensation benefits to civilian contractors injured while working overseas on U.S. government contracts.

I represent injured contractors located anywhere in the world, including those injured while:

• Working on U.S. military bases abroad

• Supporting U.S. government or defense contracts

• Employed by contractors or subcontractors overseas

DBA claims are often complex, and insurance driven. I work to ensure injured contractors receive appropriate medical care, wage benefits, vocational assistance and compensation under the law.

Many of my clients are injured far from home—on overseas military bases, in war zones, in busy ports. I understand the unique challenges of international claims, complex insurance issues, and coordinating cases across borders and time zones. You do not need to live in or be a citizen of the United States to file a Defense Base Act claim.
